J.Marty has recently completed working as a writer and producer on platinum artist Lumidee's sophomore release. The Album "Unexpected" features appearances by Shaggy, Jim Jones, Snoop and Pitbull and will feature additional production by Wyclef Jean and Jerry Wonder, Red Spyda as well as Steven "Lenky" Mardsten.  In addition to writing and production credits, J.Marty mixed the album along side his mentor and multi platinum mix engineer Rich Keller (Sony).

Last year also saw J.Marty as Executive Producer on the highly anticipated release of MF Grimm's album American Hunger.  J.Marty has produced 7 tracks on the first ever triple hip-hop album including the first single entitled "Rat".  He is also currently working with Latin/Caribbean artist Notch, on his first solo project for Cinco Por Cinco/ Machete'/ Universal.

During his time working for P.Diddy at his studio "Daddy's House" in NYC, J. Marty engineered for some of the biggest names in the industry including: Puffy, Black Rob, Loon, Method Man, Gza, Mario Wynans and Cherri Dennis.

J.Marty is one half of the production team known as The Beatdoctorz.  Along side producer T.C. Love, The successful team has already been making waves this year with a release on Shawna's latest album "Block Music" (Def Jam) their track "Take it Slow" features Ludacris and Bobby Valentino. J.Marty has had a busy year making a new home at his studio in the Ecko Building in Manhattan, as well as KMA Studios in Times Square. mixing the theme song for FIFA/The World Cup's mascot Goalio to name one of their many projects. J.Marty has also worked closely with Marc Ecko and Ecko unltd. on various music projects for their fashion shows and videogames. J.Marty currently has a commercial airing for Ecko unltd. and have 2 more spots slated for air in the near future with the company.  In addition to their work with Ecko Unltd. J.Marty has worked on several advertising ventures including work for Weiden Kennedy/ Nike, on a campaign being developed based on the "bridge runners" in NYC, as well as work for Berlin-Cameron, which they produced/wrote music for a boost mobile radio advertisement.
