 A&R / Staff Producer  Even before graduating high school, Colin Comstock had already logged endless months of touring with various bands including The Jimmy Tuesday Band and started his own self-run label, Kickstart Audio. Over the course of two years, Kickstart released 11 albums including the debut releases for The Starting Line(Geffen), MeWithoutYou(Tooth and Nail), and The Commercials(Blackout!). As the bands began leaving for these bigger labels, Comstock decided to focus his attention elsewhere and in 2003 he dissolved the label. Comstock soon began working in the A&R department under Jonathan Fine of now defunct Q/Atlantic Records while completing his bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media from Temple University. He currently resides in Jersey City where he plays in the band A Trunk Full of Dead Bodies and Savu sea and DJs at clubs and bars in the New York City area. |
